ABSTRACT
Very often we can find in medical literature reasons to justify the use of emergency medical aids, even though their urgency cannot always be found. Diagnostic aids require patient preparation to accurately evaluate their pathology, when this cannot be done; we take the chance of considering pathological what can be physiological. Urgent exams lack precision and reliability in comparison with the ones that are taken under less stressful circumstances. Physicians in all hospitals take this under consideration; even so there are other circumstances that influence if patient will require urgent diagnostic aids.
