Stressful events, a matter of health university

ABSTRACT
Stress is one of the conditions that currently permeates any community social group, so the students no exception, however, thinking of the educational school stress is thought however the university is not only a school entity but develops in different stages and these in turn come to pass in school. Thus, the aim was to detect the stressful events of university students, for which we worked with a stratified random sample of six degrees 291alumnos. The students answered Stressful Events Scale General (SEA-G) of Fernandez and Mielgo, which was applied in groups, with verbal instructions, predicting confidentiality of data and clarifying the purpose of research. The results showed that students reported the presence of stressful events, especially during exam time, economic hardship and family illness. However, analysis by sex is seen as stressful events are similar although the place of importance and how impact is different. This allows students to conclude that such events inevitable, should have extracurricular opportunities to reduce the negative impact on their health, most of them provided by the university that can provide psychological resources that allow the practitioner to develop their potential, enabling face and solve future problems.
