Cerebral venous thrombosis in anesthesia

ABSTRACT

We describe the case of a female patient aged 28, who is done iteratively emergency cesarean under epidural catheter blockage and general anesthesia for the diagnosis of pregnancy of 38.5 weeks gestation, prodromal labor and two previous cesarean sections. Presented during the first post partum left hemiplegia attributed to anesthesia. Clinical, neurological assessment and examination of staff established the final diagnosis. A review of the etiology, incidence, clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of the condition that this patient presented in the post partum period.
