ABSTRACT
Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a chronic cholestatic pathology that affects the intra-and extrahepatic bile ducts, usually in men
between 20 and 40 years in 70% of cases. Here we present a case of a female patient 65 years of age with histopathological diagnosis of
PSC, the patient has idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) treated with Pneumology. Recent studies support the use of transient elastography
(FibroScan TE) and monitoring of progressive liver fibrosis and damage especially in patients with comorbidities that have an impaired
quality of life.
