ABSTRACT
In Early’s 90’s we had the privilege of participate and we had been witness of the beginning and the boom of the laparoscopic surgery now named Endoscopic Surgery. The great success of this new technique generate in all surgeons the need of new training for acquire more and new skills in order to offer this operative approach for the same surgery diseases. A long my Surgeon Lifetime, I had operate 379 patients with GERD, Our transoperative time rate is between 50-220min, for any reason 3 patients needed open Surgery conversion, 89% of the patients had appropriate reflux control, 76% of the patients undergo transitory dysphagia in the first 3 weeks, 3 patients require redo Nissen and fortunately we don’t have any death. We consider that the objective evaluation should be at 10 post operative years. Nissen laparoscopic technique had suffer many modifications along the years, but currently Nissen Laparoscopic technique is the goldstandar treatment for GERD, this procedure have demonstrate that is safe, efficient and reproducible procedure.
