ABSTRACT
Each day ischemic cardiopathy in women, gains much more importance due to its morbidity and mortality. Most women remain asymptomatic for cardiovascular disease before menopause occurs, 95% who develop ischemic cardiopathy is after menopause, leveling the frequency with men. Treatments should be similar in both genders. Prognosis is the same as to the men. The severity of the disease is more important than the gender.
