ABSTRACT
Vomiting is a very common problem, especially in small children, many of whom are treated for gastroesophageal reflux (GER), even when it has not been proven that it is a gastroesfageal reflux disease (GERD). The objective of this review is to try to focus on guidelines for diagnosis and for management of vomiting in young children. Additionally, general considerations are made on this controversial topic.
