ABSTRACT
Subependymomas are rare benign intraventricular tumors with an indolent growth pattern, usually asymptomatic, which most commonly occur in the fourth and lateral ventricles. We report a case of a 43-years-old man with a complaint of persistent headache. He underwent endoscopycal total resection of a subependymoma in the left lateral ventricle. The clinical course, radiographic and pathologic characteristics of this subependymoma are discussed, as well as the differential diagnosis, prognostic and therapy.
