Subependimoma sintomático de ventrículo lateral

RESUMEN
Los subependimomas son tumores intraventriculares benignos raros, de crecimiento indolente y usualmente asintomáticos. Se localizan de preferencia en el cuarto ventrículo y ventrículos laterales. Informamos el caso de un paciente masculino de 43 años de edad aquejado por cefalea persistente, portador de subependimoma en ventrículo lateral izquierdo, resecado totalmente por vía endoscópica. Discutimos su aspecto clínico-imagenológico y patológico, haciendo énfasis en el diagnóstico diferencial, pronóstico y tratamiento.
