ABSTRACT
Osteoid osteoma is a benign bone tumour first described by Jaffe in 1935. Several therapeutic options have been proposed, including medical treatment and CT-guided radiofrequency. The case of a 52 year-old woman in whom a subperiosteal osteoma was resected in the distal phalanx of the thumb is discussed. Postoperative progression was good after the first year. Clinical pictures and X-ray control is presented.
