Kawasaki disease, a rare and exotic disease?

ABSTRACT

Kawasaki disease is a vasculitic disease present in children, particularly those less than 5 years old. This disease is being diagnosed with increased frequency in Mexico. The clinical spectrum has expanded, so the therapeutic approaches. We present the experience in a third level institution and recent advances in the disease.
