ABSTRACT
We performed the reconstruction of a defect in the skull and orbit, of traumatic etiology, as a result of an attempt at self-removal in a male patient aged 28. Due to the particular complexity of the case, alloplastic reconstruction should be combined with the use of autograft. The inter-relationship between surgery and prosthesis oro-maxillo-facial surgery was essential for the resolution of this case. The procedure combined the integration of: an internal prosthesis in polymethyl methacrylate (p.m.m.a.), orbital reconstruction with auto-graft and a facial cosmetic prostheses for the rehabilitation of the patient.REFERENCES
