ABSTRACT
Nausea and vomiting are the most common symptoms in early pregnancy, present in 50% of the cases. The most severe manifestation of nausea and vomiting is the Hiperemesis Gravidarum (HG). The pathophysiology has not yet been clearly elucidated since HG involves a complex interaction of biological, psychological and socio-cultural factors. This review explores the practical basic management and the identification of the predisposing factors that develop this sickness.
