Comparación de la anestesia y analgesia postoperatoria de la ropivacaina vs. ropivacaina con fentanil en pacientes sometidos a cirugía ortopédica de tobillo

ABSTRACT

Background. Pain is one the more common symptom in patient under orthopedic surgical procedure. Preventive analgesia is de best postoperative analgesic method in ankle’s surger y; it must begin during presurgical period. Objective. To know if analgesic efficacy pre and post surger y of ropivacaina plus phentanyl is better administered epidural via in patients under orthopedic surger y of ankle,. Material and methods. It was evaluated 26 patients, 7 male and 19 female, their ages from 23 to 59 years old, from I to Il grades ASA scale, they were divided in 2 groups (group 1 ropivacaina and group 2 ropivacaina plus phentanyl). The statistical analysis include descriptive statistical and tests by independent groups using the U of Mann White with a smaller value alpha to 0.5. Results. the latency for the sensitive and motor blockade was similar in both groups, the motor blockade was discreetly more prolonged in the group 1, and the homodynamic changes were not significant differences in both groups. Discussion and conclusions. postsurger y analgesia was statistically significant difference between two groups, the group 2 got better postsurgery analgesia which during mean12 hrs.(EVA less than 5) group 1 just obtained 6 hrs analgesic efficacy.
