ABSTRACT
Brucellosis is a highly contagious bacterial zoonosis that affects millions of people worldwide. Brucellosis behaves as a systemic infection with a very heterogeneous clinical spectrum. Human brucellosis affects all age-groups, and physicians are not well versed in recognizing and treating this potentially life-threatening condition.
