RESUMEN
La brucelosis es una zoonosis bacterial altamente contagiosa que afecta a millones de personas en el mundo. La brucelosis se comporta como una infección sistémica con un amplio espectro clínico. La brucelosis humana afecta a todos los grupos de edad. Los médicos usualmente no están bien entrenados en reconocer y tratar esta enfermedad potencialmente mortal.
