ABSTRACT
The Chronic Heart Failure Syndrome is a public disease with a high prevalence, with a mortality percentage between the 4 and the 15%. This represents a high budget to the health services. In the United States a million of patients are hospitalized due to this disease. The patient profile with this health problem, basically older than 70 years old with coronary disease and hypertension is equal in female and male. (4).Currently the clinical classification being used is based in six different categories according to the primary manifestation of it. Either the hypertensive, chronic lung edema, chronic coronary syndrome, chronic heart failure, right failure and Cardiogenic shock. The management is based in this same classification using the Forrester-Diamond- Swam approach. Finally to conclude, this disease is a syndrome with a big relevance in heath centers, either in the emergency rooms or in the hospitalization area. This fact calls the attention of clinics for a more aggressive management of the comorbidities triggers of this diseaseREFERENCES
