Abdominal aortic aneurysm

ABSTRACT

This paper reports the case of a patient with a history of abdominal aortic aneurysm with implantation of a stent in pants coronary bypass and four bypass procedures; patient was admitted for severe abdominal pain, ultrasound and CT were not conclusive to determine a definitive conduct with an abdominal aorta aneurysm; thus, it was necessary to do a contrasted CT image reconstruction; it was defined as an infrarenal fusiform aneurysm of large and high risk of rupture, so the only alternative in order to improve life expectancy was to do a surgical reconstruction, regardless of the high surgical risk because of the associated illnesses.
