ABSTRACT
The typical picture is the one with a person around 60 years, with slow onset low back pain accompanied by progressive difficulty walking. This is known as neurogenic claudication: The patient begins to walk and after a variable distance (longer at the beginning of the disease) notes that his legs “no go” and has to stop some time. The disease progresses very slowly and, although, there is no medical treatment to increase the diameter, in the early stages and anti-inflammatory pain medication, help overcome the crisis. When the periods between attacks are becoming shorter as the ability to walk without stopping is becoming shorter, approaching surgery as the only solution.REFERENCES
