ABSTRACT
Surveys on knowledge, attitudes and practices in health care workers are important in hospitals to identify the exposure to risks for accidents during attention of patients with transmissible infectious diseases as B/C hepatitis, AIDS/HIV. Nosocomial infection control programs are focused on risks identification, post exposure vigilance, correct application of standard isolates techniques, and cases notification. We report 469 tests and their analysis. The educational programs, epidemiological control and recommendations are revised.
