ABSTRACT
Adequate and efficient communication is and essential component of excellence and safety in medical practice. Lack of fulfillment of the communication principles including the medical chart can produce medical errors and compromise the safety of patients. Certification institutions like the Consejo de Salubridad General and Joint Commission International give much importance to communication programs.
