ABSTRACT

Tuberculosis (TB) occurs in several ways, often with nonspecific symptoms, especially in the acute form, and can be often misdiagnosed as bacterial pneumonia or masqueraded as an atypical pneumonia, which is important as it delays the diagnosis and treatment. This review summarizes the key clinical and radiological acute forms of TB. We present a case of a patient with nonspecific symptoms.
