ABSTRACT
Case reports: we report two patients with diaphragmatic rupture, one right and one left with blunt abdominal trauma. In the case of right rupture suffered harassment on public streets and was taken to hospital with hypovolemic shock data, characterized by a BP of 90/40 and HR of 111 per minute. The initial study showed little liquid FAST abdominal and chest plate rib fractures and right diaphragm elevation. In the other case, the rupture of the left side, the patient is lifted from the street with no data on the mechanism of injury, hemodynamic status unaltered. Non-specialists in imaging overlooked the diagnosis of diaphragmatic rupture in both cases initially on chest radiographs, although there were reliable data from the injury. The definitive diagnosis was made with CT showing the characteristic signs of diaphragmatic rupture.
