ABSTRACT
Background: Castleman disease is an infrequent disorder characterized by polyclonal hyperplasia of lymphatic ganglia; mostly it is shown located, being benign and with good forecast. Imaging studies are the first tool used to confirm at a later time, the diagnosis through histopathology.
Clinical case: Following, we submitted a case of a 47 years old woman with BI-RADS V report, which developed later counter-lateral breast cancer. It is important to consider excessively the diagnosis of Castleman disease, since it is a pathology whose risk factors are increasing, in addition to that a change in the types of presentation.
