ABSTRACT
Blast injuries are unusual, and various blast-induced organic lesions have been reported. Testicular destruction caused by this phenomenom, i.e., orchiolysis has not been reported. We describe the case of a nine year old boy injured by the explosion of an artifact during a festival, which resulted in the destruction of the testicle. This necessitated an orchiectomy.
