ABSTRACT
Introduction: The fibroid solitary tumor (FST) is the term given specifically to a strange derived neoplasia of the mesenquima that affects more commonly to the pleura, to the visceral one. FST is typically well rounded mass, peduncular, with vessels inside the tumoral pedicle, ending up of a great size.
Material and methods: Showing three cases with clinical-radio-pathological correlation, characterized as benign variant that allows identification of FST radiological findings describing the image frequency, distribution and characteristics of whatever the method is to identify and recognize FST.
Conclusion: FST is a strange condition and consequently, of inadvertent diagnosis, frequently carried out with delay or incidentally and that happens mainly in patients of the third age who usually have concomitant sufferings that increase the morbid process and that deserve a clinical follow up and for further image.
