ABSTRACT
Buschke-Löwenstein tumor is a benign lesion of the external genitalia and perianal region. It is locally invasive and the damage it produces is caused by compression. It has been associated with type 6 and type 11 human papillomavirus (HPV). The treatment of choice is surgical excision. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are used in some cases. The case of a 56-year-old patient presenting with a penile tumor with total destruction of the penis is reported.
