ABSTRACT

Metanephric adenoma is a benign renal tumor with good prognosis, it has histologically and radiologically similar characteristics with Wilms’ tumor and papillary renal cell carcinoma. It’s the most common tumor of the family of metanephric tumors, representing 0.2% of adult renal epithelial neoplasms. Multifocal tumors are rare. We report the case of a male patient aged 17 with no history of importance whose illness began about a year ago to attack the general condition and symptoms B, went to private doctor who gave symptomatic treatment with hich the symptoms remitted. One week before admission to hospital patient had oliguria. Laboratory studies were normal. Abdominopelvic USG and CT showed a tumor located in the lower pole of right kidney with peripheral hemorrhage.
