ABSTRACT
The peritoneum is a highly reactive tissue to inflamation. Epiplon of the rodent has a great quimioatractor capacity of the neutrophile. To expose to the any substance injection, including electrolitic solution, it produces an inflammatory reaction. The Electrolyzed Superoxidized Solution with Neutral pH (ESS) contains active ions with antibacterial property; it could be used in secundary peritonitis’ treatment, if it doesn’t produce mesotelial inflamatory reaction. The objective was demostrate the Electrolyzed Superoxidized Solution with Neutral pH compered with electrolized water produce similary changes in the peritonial response when a intraperitonia injection is administrated in experimenttation subjets. Neither the intraperitonial injection of ESS with Neutral ph nor sterile water don´t impose sugestive conditions of peritonitis in Wistar rats.
