ABSTRACT
Pancreatic pseudocysts are cyst colections without epithelial wall representing 75% of all pancreatic cyst collections. According to Atlanta classification, chronic pancreatic pseudocyst is that recognized after chronic pancreatitis without a previous acute attack. Three procedures have been described for the treatment of pancreatic pseudocyst: 1) external drainage, 2) internal drainage and 3) surgical remotion. However, because the technical endoscopic knowledge and percutaneous drainage, the surgical treatment has been modify. In the present case, the author reports an 8.6x10.1 cm. y 8.2x10 cm., chronic pancreatic pseudocysts with septum by TC that was treated by cystojejunostomy and Y Roux anastomosis, with biopsy of wall cyst for the evidence of no malignant disease. We make the literature review, and there are important findings of chronic pancreatic pseudocyst that determine the medical or surgical treatment. We conclude that the treatment of chronic pancreatic pseudocyst most be individualized, looking for anatomic findings because this lesions have also spontaneous resolution.
