ABSTRACT
About fourteen cases of intratesticular sarcoma have been reported in the literature. Pure testicular rhabdomyosarcoma is a very rare type of tumor. A 31-year-old man who presented with a painful left testicular swelling underwent left inguinal radical orchiectomy with suspicion of testicular malignancy. This case was confirmed as an alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma by the histopathologic and immunohistochemical findings. There were no associated germ cell elements nor elevated alpha-fetoprotein or beta-human chorionic gonadotropin. We report on the first case of an intratesticular alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma with review of the relevant literature.REFERENCES
