ABSTRACT
Diverticular disease of the appendix represents an unusual pathological finding, however appendicular neuromas is a relatively common entity. We report herein a case of diverticular disease of the appendix associated with an appendicular neuroma in which the neuromatous proliferation protruded through the muscle wall defects. To the best of our knowledge this is the first reported case of such a peculiar association between an appendicular neuroma protruding through multiple wall defects and diverticular disease of the appendix.
