ABSTRACT
Mexican urologists are divided into two large groups: the Mexican Society of Urology and the Mexican College of Urology.Despite previous efforts, it has not been possible to join the two groups together into one. A survey of urologists from both groups was done to find out their opinion of such a merging based on reliable figures. The results were clearly in favor of a joining together and its consequent academic, scientific, social and economic advantages. The figures reflect the will of the majority of urologists surveyed and should be taken into account in order to carry out the desire of the members and to promote the possibility of joining both groups into one.
