ABSTRACT
Surgical treatment of orbitary fractures represents one of the most difficult procedures in facial trauma. Traditional incisions used to repair orbital defects leave surgical sequel in spite of the technique. To avoid the unfavorable results, endoscopic techniques have been developed and applied to orbital fractures. In general they provide a magnified vision, a better illumination of the surgical field, simultaneous vision by several members of the surgical team, the precise size of the fracture, and allow to reduce all of the orbital content, and the proper cover of the orbital defect. This procedures can be done safer and with a minimal morbidity and better cosmetic results.
