ABSTRACT
Inadequate nourishing habits, are important risk of morbidity, even of mortality if they are made habitual and long time, because they hit directly in nutritious state and contribute to greater predisposition for infectious and chronic diseases; what associated with aging and coexistence of its prevalence pathologies, it can determine and accentuate changes in dietetic ingestion of old ones, increasing the risk of nutritionals alterations that diminish the quality of life. In Mexico, the objective of Social Programs on atiention to old like “Attention to Greater Adults” and “Attention to Greater Adults be 70 years old and more in countryside”, are to surpass conditions of nourishing poverty and acceding to betier life conditions. OBJECTIVE: To analyze characteristics of nourishing consumption in daily diet of greater adults beneficiaries of social programs, in Naranjillo, La Mesa del Espinal and Tenampa, Naolinco Municipality, Veracruz, Mexico. METHODOLOGY: Study quantitative-sectional and qualitative-explanatory cut. MATERIALS: Anthropometrics equipment and questionnaires: Feeding daily reminder (24 hours); consumption frequency, life styles, MUST. RESULTS: Benefi ciaries use supports in medicines, foods and clothing. Basic daily diet consists on beans, tortillas, coffee, sweet bread, sauces and milk. CONCLUSIONS: a) nourishing conduct in age, to modify it´s diffi cult by factors like culture and tradition that influences in daily diet, b) social programs on atiention to greater adults of countryside are not designed according to population felt necessities.REFERENCES
