ABSTRACT
It is an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, and prospective study to carry out opportune detection of hidden renal insufficiency in primary attention with a sample of 210 patients of 50 years or but. Sort, age, weight were successfully obtained, charts, IMC, comorbidities (DM, HTA, osteoarthritis) to which asked for laboratories to them control (chemical sanguineous) during the period included of January to June 2007. The filtrate was determined to glomerular applying the formula of Cockcroft-Gault corrected by corporal surface. Hidden renal insufficiency in a 31% (66), and 69% (144) without confirming data of IRO, the total of examined individuals was detected. When analyzing by age group we found that of the 50-59 years a 10% display IRO, between the 60-69 years a 25%, 70-79 years a 53% and over 80 years until a 70%. The pathology that greater frequency reported of IRO was the Arterial Hypertension with a 29%, the Mellitus Diabetes Type 2 with a 27%; In relation to the glucose control, it was observed that of the patients with values of filtrate of glomerular smaller of 60 ml/min/1.73m2, 87% of diabetic patients presented uncontrolled of glucose with an empty stomach. IRO in the patients with antecedents of ingestion of smaller AINES of 5 years in a 13% was observed, and in majors of 5 years it increases to 44%. The anemia presence was related degree I in 56% of the cases to renal insufficiency hides and to anemia degree II in 2%.
