ABSTRACT
This research investigates the impact of physical activity, quality of life of Older Persons in the mental health area, specifically in improving the symptoms of depression presented by this population. It pinpoints what the possible causes and symptoms presented, indicating that the main causes in our country are affective deficiencies due to lack of social interaction, or poor social relationships, poor mobilization accents, lack of financial resources to meet basic needs and feelings of loneliness given by the abandonment of their families. Also mentions the family situation living Older Persons because this aspect is a major determinant of mental health.
