ABSTRACT
The spread of several infecto-contagious diseases was one of the most important results from the interchange between the populations from the New and the Old Continent. Wherever the conquerors arrived, they carried with them the scourge of epidemics. America’s inhabitants would face the hardest challenge of their entire history.
