ABSTRACT
Introduction: The reconstruction of urethral defects severe enough tissue must have good quality, adequately vascularized. We present a unique technique in extensive urethral reconstruction.Case report: Men’s 4 years, with duplication of urethra in “Y” as classified by Effmann characterized by perineal hypospadias and fibrotic penile urethra. The reconstruction consisted of two phases, the first was to create the neo-urethra with a tubularized island flap extensive probe endless. The second is urethral anastomosis.
Discussion: The successful reconstruction of the urethra depends mainly on the quantity, quality, vascularity and mastery of surgical technique The aim is mainly to create a tube to ensure neourethra vascularized second, avoid the use of grafts, the usefulness of the third probe endless tube quiescent conditions, permeability, fourth avoid trauma to the neo-urethra urine flow.
