ABSTRACT
Introduction: Etiology of anorectal malformation is unknown. In the literature there are not reports about congenital or acquired rectovesical fistula in girls, only the cloacal variants. Mayer-Rokitansky syndrome is characterized by vaginal and uterus atresia, anorectal malformations is not common.
Case report: Female with cloaca. Colostomy was performed the second day of life. In the study of the patient we found, rectovesical fistula, agenesis of right kidney, vaginal and uterus atresia. We performed laporoscopy-assisted anorectal pull-trough, with fistula closed, without complications.
Discussion: Early diagnosis of rectovesical fistula allows the planning of fistula closure and anorectal pull-through in the same time. Minimally invasive surgery, identifies diagnosis of associated anomalies. The laparoscopic - assisted anorectal pull-through in anorectal malformations offers less number of procedures , decreasing hospital stay, and preserves pelvic musculature and better continence and quality of life.
