ABSTRACT
In this article we present the development and transfer of technology within the health field, making a brief description about how the regulations have been developed in order to facilitate the implementation of technological projects generated at research institutions aiming at their linking with the industry. Another issue developed here will be the technological innovation process in the field of health considering two aspects: technology and market. We also comment on some alternatives that are likely to be implemented to participate in the development and transfer of technology, whether it is as a member of an institution or as an independent researcher.
