ABSTRACT
Complete dissociation of testis and epididymis caused by epididymal torsion is a very rare condition. Our 15-year-old patient presented with severe scrotum pain which required immediate surgical exploration. A total infarction of the epididymis was found as a result of epididymal torsion. The short attachment of the epididymis to the testis predisposed the torsion of the epididymis. Epididymectomy was carried out and the testis was sutured down.
