ABSTRACT
In the last few years children and adolescents have learned skilfully how to use computers and Internet. They are exposed to numerous risks such as the exhibition to pornographic material, violence, child abuse and corruption, drugs, gambling. The factors that mostly influence them are the easy access to web pages with inappropiate contents; the anonymity, the comfort in its use and the ignorance of strategies or programs to navigate in a safe way. Before allowing children and adolescents get in the Internet, it is necessary to establish rules; parents can protect them if they know the risks related to its use and get jumbled in their activities
