Resistencia Chaco. Material and methods: Along seven years period (March of 1998 to March of 2005) were treated 92 patients for colorectal cancer, 17 of these (18.47%) were 40 years old or younger in the diagnosis moment. Age, sex, symptoms, localization, stadium, treatment, histology classification and over life or survival rates were analyzed. Results: The edge average was 30 years old (rank 20 to 40 years); 8 woman (47.03%) and 9 man (52.94%), in 8 (43.05%) patients were localized in rectum; 5 (29.01%) in left colon and 4 (23.04%) in the right colon. Conclusion: The cancer frequency in young people increased in last years. The little importance of the symptomatology from of the patient and the low medical suspect delayed the diagnosis; inciding in the stadium and the histologic difference that define the diagnosis.REFERENCES
