Multiple brain infarcts due to inmonoglobulin at low dosis in a patient whit guillain barre syndrome

ABSTRACT
Sixty years old woman with a Guillain Barre syndrome (GBS) had multiple brain infarcts because the administration of intravenous inmonoglobulin (IVIg) four dosis of 5 grams a day were given. Cuadriparesis, stupor and visual alterations apeared 3 days alter the medication was given magnetic resonante demonstrated the multiple infarcts. The coexistence of both diseases might be posible but in this case the immediately aparence makes the cause efecto the most posible explanation.
