ABSTRACT
The Steinert, disease has an incidence worldwide Muscular Dystrophies is 1: 8,000 births in Mexico there is no report, often associated with problems anesthetics such as the use of inhaled anaesthetics, neuromuscular blockers and even malignant, by the infrequency of suffering hyperthermia, when faced with a patient with some clinical features of this kind, we wonder, what the anesthetic procedure which will have fewer consequences? The clinical case of 33 years bearer of Steinert disease, with diabetes mellitus, atrophy muscle, gonadal, fall of hair and irritability, who was made cantopexia, with local anesthesia and sedation occurs. We conducted a literature review.
