ABSTRACT
We report the first case of a critical aortic valve stenosis in a newborn with clinic manifestations of heart failure. The specific diagnostic of this anomaly was made early by echocardiogram in an attempt to remove the aortic valve obstruction accordingly with therapeutic guidelines through balloon catheter valvuloplasty that was not successful and it was motive for surgery. His evolution was satisfactory and he continued control with echocardiography studies because it maybe possible a re-intervention by catheterization and or surgery because of the risk of a new obstruction.REFERENCES
