Non neoplasic pathology of the salivatory glands consists in development anomalies, obstructive alterations, infections, manifestations of systemic diseases, immunological lesions and idiopathic conditions. Some non neoplastic conditions may look like benign or malignant tumors, among them are Küttner’s tumor, polycystic sclerosing adenosis, necrotizing sialometaplasia and AIDS-related cystic disease.
