ABSTRACT
Diagnosis of bronchogenic carcinoma is usually made in the late stages of the disease when surgical treatment is no longer feasible; thus it is clear that a high index of suspicion is mandatory to diagnose the disease in its early stages. We describe the clinical and radiographic syndromes that can lead to early suspicion of the disease, and imaging and invasive procedures confirmatory of the diagnosis and clinical stage, as well as type of treatment to be offered according to the International Staging System for Lung Cancer.REFERENCES
