ABSTRACT
Neuromuscular blockers and their use are usual concern in anesthesia and intensive care. Since their introduction not only benefits but also adverse effects have been described; facts without a big change nowadays. In addition, many molecules, relative indications and a lack of adequate monitoring systems turn decision making a difficult issue. A team of anesthetists from all over the country, in a quest for going deep in the study of neuromuscular blockers, has been meeting together looking for a better understanding and a consequent better clinical use of these drugs. The aim of this article is to present the results of their conclusions as an element of improvement of our clinical practice.
